With ‘MIQ’ and lockdowns a distant memory, and despite Mother Nature throwing some curve balls at us (Cyclone Gabriel, flooding at Auckland Airport), we’ve been pretty busy. Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ve been up to!

With most of the early 2022 line up of acts cancelled, audiences were desperate to get out and enjoy live entertainment again, with a sample of acts who made it to New Zealand shores to include…

  • The Ten Tenors – 2023. Vocal ensemble The Ten Tenors performed 10 Kiwi centres across NZ
  • Billy Joel – 2022. The first international act to play Eden Park in Auckland
  • Blues Fest
  • Elton John’s Farewell Tour – 2023. The Auckland shows were called off due to severe flooding.
  • Jack Johnson – ‘Meet the Moonlight’ 2022 Tour
  • Nile Rodgers & Chic -2023…at The Civic Theatre, Auckland
  • Rod Stewart – 2023, touring with Cyndi Lauper
  • Red Hot Chilli Peppers – 2023…legendary rockers returned for massive stadium tours
  • Fat Boy Slim – 2023 saw this revered DJ take NZ by storm
  • One Republic – 2023

Film

We continued to work through the MIQ environment to get cast and crew into New Zealand for productions…

  • Power of the Dog, from Academy Award Winning Director, Jane Campion received a dozen Oscar nominations!
  • Sweet Tooth….critically acclaimed fantasy drama hosted on Netflix and continued for three seasons.
  • Chief of War – 2022/23 – a limited series for Apple TV+ by Fifth Season starring leading man, Jason Momoa.
  • The Convert – 2023, recently released on the big screen…directed by Lee Tamahori!
  • The Gone – 2023, This Irish detective TV series has returned again this season.
  • Choose Love – 2022, this rom com movie for Netflix stars Laura Marano and was shot primarily around Auckland.
  • Uproar – 2023, featuring Julian Dennison, Minnie Driver and Rhys Darby
  • Far North – 2023, TV series based on a true event.

Other special work mentions…

  • Anna Parsons – 2022 was an horrific year for this incredible 22yr old after falling 24 metres while climbing in Yosemite, breaking her spine, pelvis, ribs, neck and both feet…one of which was subsequently amputated. Anna was repatriated back to NZ with an accompanying medical team with a stretcher configured in the Air New Zealand cabin.
  • Dali – 2022, Inside Dali was a phenomenal multimedia experience of the great surrealist painter – Salvador Dali
  • Our paths crossed yet again with Jason Momoa for a TV commercial for Guinness….
